Well, we did it! After 61 days of walking and 870 miles the Walk is finally completed. Co-founders Dai Graham and Jan Koops walked proudly into Cardiff Bay on Saturday 2 November carrying the baton, accompanied by hundreds of fellow walkers who had turned out to support the final day of the Walk. Congratulations to Jan, Rod Morgan, Alison Elson and Chris Hopkins who all walked the whole 870 miles and thank you to all those who took part along the way, making it such a successful and memorable event.
Sam Bossi and the girls' Team 11 did a great job guiding the walkers along the final stretch of coastline from Porthcawl to the Bay and the baton has now been presented to the Welsh Guards for safe keeping with the Battalion in Hounslow.
On behalf of all the WOW team, a huge thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to the enormous success of our event. The response and generosity we received from everyone we met and everywhere we went was truly humbling.
If there's one present you should definitely give this Christmas, it's one of our calendars! Available now on eBay.
