    Frederic Robinson Brewery

William Robinson, Managing Director of Frederic Robinson Brewery said: “Beer and pubs have always had an important role to play – especially for our troops. As an essential morale booster during times of war and conflict beer was never rationed; Churchill himself mandated that every fighting man at the front must receive eight pints a week. Today, the beer and pub sector supports almost 1 million UK jobs and here at Robinsons we have a number of ex. service men and women running our pubs and essentially ‘serving' their communities, in place of 'serving' their 'country'. Walk on Wales is a fantastic way to help raise money for soldiers and their families who have been affected by the devastating impact of active service and I’m sure it will appeal to the public’s sense of national pride. There is a real feel good factor about sponsoring this campaign and the fact that participants will pass a number of Robinsons pub en route and hopefully pop in to enjoy the hospitality they offer at the same time really hits the spot.”
